Testimonials
"The entire visit to Camp Joy was a thrill for our son.
But thanks to you, there is an especially proud moment that he will
remember for many years to come; and this would not be the case had it
not been for your sense of dedication."
Six Grader’s Parent @ Miami Valley School, Springboro, OH
"Our kids cannot stop talking about the awesome
experience we had at Camp Joy, and many have told me that it was the
best field trip they have ever been on…I really appreciate all the hard
work you and your staff does to make Camp Joy such and invaluable
experience for our students. I am already looking forward to next year
and cannot wait to do it again – even if it is cold again!"
Eighth Grade Teacher @ Conner Middle School, Hebron, KY
"This field trip taught me a lot of things. It taught me
teamwork, being supportive of each other, how to succeed, and how to set
goals. But yeah I just wanted to tell you all I had a bunch of fun!!!"
Eighth Grade Student @ Conner Middle School, Hebron, KY
“I was
a student at Carlisle High School and attended your camp both in middle
school as a student and as a counselor in high school. I have always
looked back fondly on my memories of your camp …. I can take this chance
to commend your camp and the work you and your staff put into it.”
Former Student @ Chamberlain Middle School, Carlisle, OH
“I am
always amazed at how well you can reach the kids, having known them for
such a short time. Perhaps it is the
games
that you play, or the respect that you share with them. Perhaps it is
something inside each of you with which the kids can identify.
Whatever it is, you help the students of IHM take on challenges outside
the classroom, and I am fortunate enough to see their faces when they
succeed. INCREDIBLE !!!”
Seventh Grade Teacher @ Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Burlington, KY
“The
Living History – Survival on the Underground Railroad is something that
will have an immediate impact on the students in our building. By
understanding racism and tying it into bullying, you are driving home a
point that needs to be taught throughout their school years”
Principal @ Hilliard Tharp, Hilliard, OH
“The
number one benefit our group received from attending Joy was a lasting
impact on students, related and relevant school curriculum”
Sixth Grade Teacher @ Hilliard Station, Hilliard, OH
